An inspiring and well-designed workspace can impact upon your team's culture, productivity, and efficiency, as well as their general wellbeing at work. If you or your department has been directly responsible for managing and delivering a world-classs workspace, then this is the award for you. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Outstanding Achievement: Please briefly describe significant projects undertaken over the past 24 months and why you think they were exceptional.
  • What Makes Your Workplace Worthy of Recognition: Describe what makes your workplace worthy of recognition. Has this view been internally validated ( eg employee surveys / feedback) or via external independent assessment .
  • Approaches Taken to Make the Workplace More Welcom: Describe approaches taken to make your workplace more welcoming and inclusive. Also comment on how you feel excellence can be achieved in workplaces with a hybrid approach to working.
  • Product Background: Provide a brief background on the rationale for the product project, its scope and size, the project team involved, project budget, timeline, etc.
  • Project Execution: What strategy was undertaken to achieve the project’s aims and objectives and was it delivered on time and within budget? Outline any challenges faced and how they were overcome.
  • Business Growth: Please detail significant and specific activities in the workplace that have contributed to business growth.
  • Challenges: Please highlight any challenges that were experienced over the past 24 months that impacted your workplace and how they were overcome.
  • Innovativeness: Please include details of any unique efforts or processes that have been employed, demonstrating the degree of innovation, potential for replication and how you have validated your results.
  • Societal impact: Please outline the societal impact of any methods or projects you have developed
