This award recognises achievements in the development and application of diagnostic technologies. It celebrates innovations that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of medical diagnostics. Entries are open to organisations developing diagnostic devices, technologies, or services. Judges will assess the impact of these innovations on patient care and the healthcare system. Entry is by a 5-page A4 submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Organisation Overview: Describe your organisation’s role in developing or commercialising diagnostic technologies, including its size, focus, funding, and any key partnerships or collaborations that have directly supported the development or success of your diagnostic solutions.
  • Innovation and Uniqueness: What makes your diagnostic technology unique? How does it address unmet needs or offer a competitive advantage in diagnostics?
  • Regulatory Approval and Market Success: Provide details of relevant regulatory approvals and milestones such as product launches, clinical trial results, or market adoption.
  • Impact on Clinical Decision-Making and Patient Outcomes: How does your technology improve diagnosis, clinical decisions, or patient outcomes? Provide measurable evidence, such as improved diagnostic accuracy or feedback from healthcare providers or patients.
  • Scalability and Implementation: Explain how your solution can scale across diverse healthcare settings. How does it integrate into existing healthcare systems? Discuss its potential for improving accessibility, meeting future healthcare needs, and expanding its impact across healthcare systems.
  • Societal Contribution: How does your solution contribute to public health, improve access to care, or address healthcare challenges like early detection or disease prevention?
