This award recognises a life sciences leader that has demonstrated a significant contribution to the industry in Ireland. The individual can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so.
Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Career summary: A summary that describes their career to date including contributions to the sector and qualifications achieved.
- Contributions & Achievements: Summarise the contributions the person has made over the past 24 months to the introduction and promotion of standards within the life sciences.
- Sample Projects/Initiatives: Highlight any recent projects or initiatives they were heavily involved in from the past 24 months and quantify its success.
- Leadership: Outline how the individual has displayed strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, commitment, and enthusiasm for the role.
- Supporting facts & statements: Include any other statements or facts that support the entry, especially activities in the broader life sciences sector or engagement with academic or other industry partners including a supporting letter from the nominee’s head of department or supervisor.
