This award recognises excellence in the MedTech sector, celebrating companies, teams, or individuals developing and commercialising innovative medical technologies, devices, diagnostics, or digital health solutions. Entries are open to organisations from public, private, or academic sectors within the healthcare and life sciences fields. The judges will assess the impact of the technology on patient care, clinical outcomes, and the broader healthcare ecosystem. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pay particular attention to the criteria listed below.
- Organisation Overview: Describe your organisation, including its size, focus, role in developing or commercialising medical technologies, and any relevant partnerships or funding.
- Innovation and Uniqueness: What makes your MedTech product or technology unique? How does it address unmet medical needs or provide a competitive advantage in the sector?
- Regulatory Approval and Market Milestones: Provide details of regulatory approvals and key milestones such as product launches, clinical trial results, or market adoption.
- Impact on Patient Care: How does your technology improve patient care, clinical outcomes, or healthcare efficiency? Provide measurable evidence of its impact, such as clinical data, patient feedback, or operational improvements.
- Scalability and Long-Term Viability: Explain the scalability of your product and how it can adapt to meet future healthcare demands. Describe its long-term potential for growth and sustained impact.
- Societal Contribution: How does your MedTech solution contribute to public health, increase access to care, or address significant healthcare challenges? Demonstrate its broader societal impact, particularly in improving quality of life.
