The Patient Impact Award honours exceptional achievements within Ireland's life sciences industry that have significantly enhanced patient care and outcomes. This prestigious accolade recognises companies, teams, or individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to placing patients at the heart of their innovation and operations. Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Impact Vision and Strategy: Provide an overview of your high-level vision for improving patient outcomes. Explain how this vision drives your strategy, decision-making, and organisational priorities.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrate how your organisation collaborates with stakeholders to achieve patient-focused solutions, e.g., patients, healthcare providers, research institutions, policymakers, etc.
  • Patient-Centricity: Demonstrate how your organisation actively prioritises patient needs, engagement, and empowers them at every stage of the healthcare journey. Provide examples of patient involvement shaping your initiatives.
  • Transformative Innovation: Describe innovative therapies, technologies, or services addressing unmet medical needs and enhancing patient quality of life. Highlight your role in advancing Ireland’s life sciences leadership.
  • Measurable Patient Outcomes: Present clear and specific evidence of your initiative’s impact on patient health, accessibility to care, or overall experience. Use data, case studies, or testimonials to support your claims.
  • Long-Term Viability and Scalability of Patient Impact: Explain how your initiative delivers lasting improvements in patient care and adapts to evolving needs. Highlight the scalability of your approach and describe how your initiative aligns with Ireland’s broader healthcare priorities.
